New USDA BioPreferred^SM Program Encourages Buyers to Go Green!

Dancing Dingo has been chosen by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to join the US BioPreferred^SM program. BioPreferred ^SM products consist of bio-renewable resources, and are composed wholly, or in significant part, of ingredients made from renewable plant materials. These include; natural vegetable and fruit oils, butters and plant extracts such as essential oils, Rosemary, Comfrey and Calendula extracts to name just a few. The USDA is promoting the BioPreferred^SM Program to increase the use of bio-based products that offer many environmental solutions to help us all Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Protect the Environment.

Dancing Dingo signs The Compact for Global Production of Safe Health & Beauty Products

By signing, we pledge not to use chemicals that are known or strongly suspected of causing cancer, mutation or birth defects in our body products, and to implement substitution plans that replace unsafe materials with safer alternatives in every market we serve.

Everyday products such as shampoo, deodorant and make-up may contain chemicals linked to cancer, birth defects and other serious health consequences. Why? Because manufacturers are allowed to use almost any chemical as an ingredient without government approval.

We feel body products should be made with safe, non-toxic ingredients. The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics is a coalition of U.S.-based health and environmental groups working to protect cosmetics consumers from toxic chemicals and hold companies accountable for the safety of their products.
